Destruction starts from overthinking

DO YOU KNOW OVERTHINKING IS A START OF MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS?

Overthinking is a kind of trap that affects your well being. Overthinking is destructive and mental draining. If I have to describe overthinking, then I may say that when you think, analyze and repeat the same thought again and again instead of working, then you are overthinking it. It is mainly caused due to lack of confidence and self-esteem and is the most significant cause of unhappiness.

 It does not look like a big problem. Still, slowly and gradually, it becomes a habit, and overthinking the first effect is that a person's tendency of decision making decreases, instead of taking actions he/she might sit and just think over it. this waste their time and energy both.it's like tying yourself in a rope with your thoughts. Overthinking creates problems and might create arguments between two people.

Mostly people effected with this think about an event, person or something about that happened in the past and saw the negative aspects of the situation instead of thinking about the solution to a problem. If that isn't the case, then they might think about some present issues or take stress about future; they create the problem themselves by thinking about worst situations like what if this happens? Which, in reality, does not exist at all. There are more negative thoughts than a positive one, and you have no control over it. Your mind seems more powerful than you and starts pressuring on you with different negative thoughts.

If this keeps on increasing, then it may lead to anxiety, emotional distress, depression, or various mental disorder. It said that there is nothing in this world that can trouble you as much as your thoughts can. Thus it is necessary to get rid of this overthinking.

HOW TO GET RID OF OVERTHINKING?

The first step is to keep yourself occupied so that your mind does not get time to overthink about past or future related thoughts. 

Start exercising or walking daily because that takes your mind off temporarily from overthinking habits and also realize that thinking once or just a few times is enough. Build confidence and your self-esteem by thinking more about what your strengths are, and your achievements are, eat good food and take care of your hygiene.

If you like, you can meditate and do things that make you feel good, like listening to music (not sad songs ) or following your passion and also spend more time with your near and dear ones. And have a good sleep and, most importantly, try to make decisions yourself and not depending on others, do not negatively judge your capabilities.

Such type of doings will not let you have time to overthink.

 A bad habit requires some time to change, so do give yourself time to change your overthinking habit and don't get anxious or stressed out.

It is necessary for you to stop analyzing the past, planning for the future, and stop deciding how your mind and heart feel and just go with the flow.

To avoid overthinking also, you should keep in faith that whatever happen has their own reason.
