He is also not only the top scorer for 2019 but is for whole decade in European competiotions which include Champions league, Nations League and Euro cup. Lionel Messi, his arch rival could not even be near him with just 99 goals as Messi doesnt represent any European country.

Ronaldo also holds the record of highest scorer in UEFA Champions Legue in which he played from Manchester United, Real madrid and Juventus with astonishing 126 goals which is followed by six times ballon d'or winner Lionel Messi's 112 goals from Barcelona. The 34 years old was critisized at the beginning of his Juventus career and was marked as declining but later he proved that age is just numbers for him with record breaking figures and achievements with his new club. Though he finished third in 2019 ballon d'or ranking, he is considered the best performer and achiever this year by many fans and critics considering his latest move to the Italian league.
