Life in a unlocked prison

A boy was unfortunate that day and wrote a poem -

They say boy don't cry

They say boy don't laugh

They even say boy can't love a boy

Do they get any book on boys?

If yes, then why they didn't give me??

When I got to know about this, I could not bear the painful tears of a small boy who was always hidden behind his cute smile. 

Being gay is not a choice, and everyone says this. But when it comes to accepting a gay couple or their love story, people just laugh at them, or they disrespect them, or even they stop talking with them. When you talk to any gay boy, you will realize how difficult for them to be alone when no one accepts them. What is their fault?... If they want they can marry a girl and have an affair with a boy. But they don't want to spoil any innocent girl's life. They know that they are not born to ruin anyone's life. They are just humans, like us. 

In a country like India, gays are suppressed under social norms. Norms that are meaningless. Gays in India want to enjoy their life with their true love. But where they will find gay boys???... there is no unique tag to identify a gay... so many teens are taking help from Facebook. They create fake id and chat with boys with fake id... They talk and exchange pictures. When it gets over is still a question. 

Gays can't express their love in public. Though it is legalized, they and their love are still in prison. That prison is unlocked, but no one dares to come out of that prison, they wan to stay in that prison forever. 

Being humans, they can't love. They can't enjoy their life. They can't hold their partner's hand and walk. They can't cry on their partner's shoulder. Every day they cry to express, so they tell everything to The Dead Diary. Ohhh, even dead things understand their pain, but not we. Are we humans??
