5 Best Tricks That Helps To Wake Up At 5 A.M

We all know the benefits of proper sleep schedule and waking up early in the morning, and how single handedly this habit can change our whole life physically, mentally. But, still we are unable to wake up early. Its not easy for today's generation to have a proper sleep schedule because of high speed internet, cool gadgets and technologies which keeps us engaged and awake till late night.

So here in this article we will give you 5 basic mental tricks which will help you to master the habit of waking up at 5 am.

 

1. Sleep on Time. 

Before mastering the habit of wakinh up early you must learn the importance of going to sleep on time.

Our goal is not just to wake up at 5am but also to remain refreshed, awaked and active throughout the whole day, so it is important for us to have atleast 6-7 hours of sleep and since you will wake up at 5 in the morning, it becomes important to go to sleep early i.e around 10 or 11 o'clock. In short ( early to bed and early to rise)

 

2.Set an Alarm

You must set an alarm before going to bed (5am) in your phone or alarm clock or even you can tell your elders to help you wake up. Your alarm must be kept in such a way that it is out of your reach, no way near your bed. The logic behind this is when the alarm will rang in the morning your first reacting would be to stop that and since you can't reach your alarm you have to come out of your bed to switch it off, and once you are out of your bed, boom baby its 5 am in morning and you are out of your bed

Target achieved, now its all mental strength to remain awake. 

 

3.Set Goals

Its not easy to overcome the bad sleep patterns that you have been following for such a long time. 

Your reptilian brain will try to manipulate you by convincing you to go back to sleep to old comfortable pattern

So, you have to give youself  a strong reason as a back up that will serve you as a purpose for waking up regularly at 5 am till it becomes a habit 

It takes lot of mental strength and a strong goal that motivates you to wake up early

Its easy to wake up early but difficult to stay awaked.

 

4. Make Your Goal Work As Reward System. 

Its a human tendency of looking for pleasure, joy, satisfaction in every thing that we do. 

If you are waking up early at 5 regularly and it's not giving you satisfaction and a sense of achievement then its likely that automatically you will get exhausted and will fall back to normal pattern. 

So its important to set goals that are related to your personal growth and who's result are self refective, i.e if you are a student you can study in morning which will increase your academic performance or exercise, yoga, meditation, cycling, learn new skill etc

As this things will help you become better versions of yourself and will give a sense of satisfaction and achievement that your pain of discipline of waking up early is actually worth it as it is making me a better person. 

This is how the reward system will motivate you to keep doing what you are doing till it becomes a habit.

 

5.Stay Consistent 

Habits are not built overnight 

Waking up early is not a complex thing you just have to become mentally strong and give yourself enough reasons to that will motivate you to keep waking up regularly. 

Make notes of changes that happening in you because of this new habit and once you will experience the good results then there is no going back.
