10 winter essentials that every girl needs

10 essentials that every girl needs during winters.

1- Lip balm/chapstick

We all suffer from dry lips during the winters, and there can be several reasons for that. One of the main reasons is that we do not keep ourselves hydrated enough, or we are just blessed that way genetically! Kidding huh. Well, after exploring quite a few lip balms in the market, I keep across Nivea lip balms that give my lips enough hydration and keeps them plump throughout the season. Lineage also has some great lip mask options on the pricier side but if you are looking for one, then go for it as it is one of the best in the market.

2- Moisturising cream

The second thing that is most annoying after chapped lips is not such smooth skin. Yes, you heard it right. A skin that is not so moisturized looks very dull and dead; therefore, we must ensure that we take care of it properly during winters. I have seen alot of moisturizing creams in the market with many chemicals in them that may be carcinogenic in the long run. For this section, I will also recommend using Nivea moisturizing cream, which is cream-based also, plum has launched some amazing creams recently, and you can also try them. Neutrogena has some great options along with ponds cold cream if you are looking for an affordable one.

3- Overcoats

This may come as a shock to many, but hey! Overcoats are a savior in the winters. They go so well with a lot of stuff. You can pair it up with a turtleneck and a pair of denim, and you are good to go. Getting an overcoat will be the best decision of your entire clothing purchase life, trust me. A black or a camel colored blazer, or the overcoat will never, I repeat, will never go out of trends.

4- Turtleneck

Turtle necks are an absolute winter savior, pair it up with a pair of denim, add on a little gold jewelry, and you are good to go. You could wear a turtleneck under your strappy dress and save yourself from the chilly winters and look chic and stylish at the same time. Mango turtle necks, I believe, are one of the most affordable and stylish ones available in the store, and one can get discounts on them in the EORS sale on Myntra or MANGO's official website.

5- Layering

Girls! Hear me out. You do not have to kill yourself in the winters to stay on point with your fashion game. Getting a good pair of inners and layering your outfits can be a game-changer for you. Get yourself a good pair of inners and layer them up with well-fitted T-shirts and a turtle neck; add some funky jewellery, and you are good to go in the winters.

6- Fleece-lined clothes

There are several fleeced lined boots and jackets that you find in the market but do you actually feel comfortable wearing fleece-lined garments? Personally, I don't. The right way to choose fleece-lined clothing items is to see and evaluate first whether you feel comfortable in it or not. Fleece-lined garments can be saviors in the winters and can save you from a lot of experience purchases only if you get the right one.

7- Tints

We all more or less use makeup daily, but using makeup during winters can be a tedious task because it tends to cake up a lot due to the weather conditions. Therefore, using minimal makeup and using a cheek and lip tint is what I recommend. Tints stay on for a sufficient period of time and do not cake up like other makeup products. They look natural and give you a nice flush of color on your lips and cheeks.

8- Knitted sweaters

Call me old school, but my heart has a secret Love for sweaters knitted by my mother. They are making a comeback in the fashion industry. Your dad's half sweater can be styled in several ways that perhaps you haven't thought of. So, at least on my recommendation, girls try getting one knitted sweater for yourself and try styling it; trust me, you won't regret your decision.

9- White shoes

They have been a wardrobe staple for a few years now, and I can't stress it enough that they are an absolute wardrobe essential. A white sneaker goes along with a dress, with a skirt, with a kurta, or with literally anything that you decide to wear. The only thing is about how you decide to style them. Get yourself a nice, good pair of white sneakers that may go a long way, and you are sorted for ages to come.

10- Shawl

Shawls are an absolutely versatile piece of clothing and can go with anything and everything that you wear on a winter day out. They go with salwar suits, sarees, denim, or literally anything that comes to your mind. Getting a nice, warm pashmina scarf or shawl will ensure that you stay warm and kill the winter chills at the same time.
