Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous and successful footballers in the world. His father was an admirer of Ronald Reagan so he gave the name Ronaldo to his son. He is from Portugal and he is Portuguese. There are many things you don't know about Cristiano Ronaldo. So, here is the list of 10 things you don't know about Cristiano Ronaldo.

  1. Let's start with an easy one and one that you may have not realized, but Ronaldo was not the highest-paid soccer player in the world last year. Taking into account wages, bonuses, endorsements, commercial revenue, and other revenue streams, Ronaldo was actually the second-highest-paid soccer player in the world in 2019. He made £109 million, which is approximately $136.4 million. Who was number one? Of course, it was Ronaldo's archival Lionel Messi who made £120 million, or around $150.1 million last year.
