Area
Hawaiian is living on the most isolated island on the planet. Hawaii Island is 3300km from Philippine, 3062km from China, 2406km from Japan and, the closer one, around 1490km from California.
History
During the Hawaiian monarchy, two queens had ruled the Island. The first queen was Kaahumanu, ruled in 1823, and the second one was Queen Liliuokalani, who ruled in 1891. Queen Liliuokalani was the last ruler of Hawaiian and Hawaii Island. In 1893, British authority banished her autocracy after she tried to get more dominance over native Hawaiian islanders.
Economy
Tourism is an important economy for Hawaii. Besides beaches, Hawaii uses the attraction of their "live" mountains to attract tourists from around the world. Hawaiian has Hawaii Volcanoes national park, mountain Kohala, Mauna Kea, Hualalai, Mauna Loa, and Kilauea. The last three mountains flow hot lava every day, and it magnetizes not only international tourists but also volcanologists.
